 | Site Info: Trouble in paradise |
 Well you will all have noticed the downtime and/or slow sites etc.
Luckily it all seems to be behind us.
After the switch to the new ISP it seems someone at the old ISP made a booboo and removed our cable patches.
Several days later and many phonecalls later, the problem with the network was finally resolved yesterday.
However it still left us to fix lots of things on our end.
From DNS to firewalls and mailservers.
Suffice to say.... We are Happy to be BACK !!!
We wish to thank you all for yor patience during all this :-)

Hello members and other viewers.
As our regular members know, we always strive to bring you the best experience, and for this reason we've decided to switch to a different Internet Service Provider.
During the switch process from the old to the new ISP we might be temporarily less available and apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Rest assured that we'll try and keep downtime as short as possible.
We are hoping that we are switched somewhere in the next 3 to 4 weeks, but in worst case scenario it might not be before the 11th of November 2011. ( Yes the new ISP is very busy, but they are that busy because they give everyone good service and not just us. They want to ensure that they can deliver as promised )

| Site Info: Chat/Radio Shutdown on Thursday, June 30th, 2011 |
On Thursday, June 30th, the chat and radio will be shut down for a large portion of the day. There is maintenance on our electrical services here, forcing us to shutdown for a day.
We will get the chat and radio services back online as soon as possible.

| General: Game Time on Canadian Way |
Hi Canadian Way Fans,
We have some exciting news!!!
Soon, we're going to put some Multi-Player Games available for our members.
We're thinking of both Strategy Games (where you build cities etc and
either trade with other players or fight them for territories), First
Person Shooter Games (like Quake) and maybe we'll throw in some Card Games too ....
Who knows ..
Soon more information will become available in the forum and also a poll is set up, on which type games you like the best.
Stay in touch, keep reading and send us your ideas if you got some.

Hi all you musicians out there,
Join our new Musician's Corner in the Community Forum.
Currently, it is setup to let us know and review your instruments and equipment.
From guitars to drums and effect pedals to synthesizers.
At a later, date we might also find space for bands looking for other artists or artists looking to join bands.

| New memory working out well ! |
Well looks like the new memory finally got our second server stable.
In the course of the next couple months all applications will be moved from the old to the new server. This includes all services currently offered.
Everyting should run much smoother once on the new machine.
Thanks for the patience during the transitions.

| Major Network Upgrade |
Well it took longer than planned .. but finally got the new internal network setup.
I apologize for the extra time it took. As I was fixing the router for the new network layout, it lost all settings for our uplink to the ISP ...
Without going too much into detail .. (you try and remember specific settings in a router you haven't changed in a few years) needed to redo all settings.
Anyways. You'll find that the site is a touch faster, more stable and the radio streams will handle better as well.
Enjoy the improved network :-)
