Hello to you all! Just wanted to say how much I miss you all and to let you know how I have been doing. We had our official Grand Opening this Memorial Day Weekend and day 1 was amazing! Over 200 people came and I am so glad I had my family helping out. Scott, Erik, Lisa and Randy busted their buns taking orders, making food and keeping that place clean in between. I can't remember the last time I went to bed before the sun, but by 8:30 I was a gonner LOL. Day 2 was a lot quieter and I have yet to see how day 3 goes. Wishing now I hadn't advertised that we would be open from 6 a.m. til 6 p.m. for day 3, but too late now. Gotta try to post some of the pics in here now but hope to be able to chat more now that the PR stuff is done for now (til the next time that is)

Hope you get a chance to re-energize soon, because you'll need that second wind now that the summer is around the corner. We all miss you too, but when you have the time, you know where to find us ! Here is the link to one of the local papers that were there for the grand opening. They did a nice article and the pic wasnt too bad either. We have been getting a great responce from just this article alone! Wooo hooo to the power of the press, it isnt always bad hahaha.

I hereby do declare today, Father's Day, as a day of rest and renewal LOL. Here's hoping that Erik can handle things solo today and if not, of course we will go in to help him and simply say this is a partial day of rest and renewal lmao.
So far, June has given us Lincoln's 1st birthday June 4 (celebrated at the deli on June 3), Lisa's birthday June 8 and our 32nd wedding anniversary on the 17th. The last day for school locally is the 24th so we should see things get a lot busier and I think we are ready LOL
If not, we'll wing it hahahaha.
